899 INDEPENDENT STUDY IN TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION
Prerequisite: Grades 10,11 and 12
Credit: 1/4-1 unit
This program provides students with an opportunity to do a study in a field of interest not
readily available in the regular curriculum. A student desiring such a program should consult
the guidance office.

850 TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION INTERNSHIP
Prerequisite: By recommendation
Credit: 1/2 or 1 unit
Students electing this course may select from several opportunities available in the
Industrial Technology Department to apply learned skills and to enhance their understanding
of technology-related concepts. These opportunities include working with individual
students in the various shops under the supervision of a teacher or assisting the teacher in
other school related projects. Students must possess a strong academic background in the
area in which they choose to intern. Note: The recommendation of the supervising teacher
and the approval of the department chairperson must be obtained before a student may
enroll in this course.
